The club’s Annual General Meeting was held on 15th June 2022, and the new Committee was elected with changes as below:
Chairman – Carl Berwick
Carl has stepped up from Vice Chairman and has held many different roles for the club over the last 20 years
Vic Chairman – James Wilkie
James is our Under5/6 Manager, and has taken up the role of Vice Chairman. James has been with us for many years managing and coaching several teams.
Club Coach – Jacob Baldwin
Jacob Baldwin has taken on the role of th Club Coach, having held roles at Southend United, CrawleyTown and Colchester United. Jacob has been with our first team for a year and has worked superbly with other age groups during that time.
Mini Soccer Secretary – Ben Glenister
Ben has been with us for two years and has done a lot of wonderful work with our mini soccer teams – his passion and enthusiasm have no boundaries and he will be a fantastic addition to our Committee.
Head of Senior Football – Dave Sales
Dave Sales is taking on the lead role with our senior section. Dave has a wealth of experience at grassroots level and will complement the senior teams superbly.
Committee Member – Josh Allcorn
Josh is our Under 11 Manager, and has joined the Committee. He is a hands on person always willing to lend a hand and help out, he will be another supberb addition to the Committee.
Leaving the Committee are Chairman Paul McCarthy and Head Coach Matt Miller. Both have dedicated over 15 years to the club, and it’s fair to say that without them we wouldn’t be anywhere near the club we are these days. Without people like Matt & Paul, grassroots football doesn’t survive and we owe then a huge amount of gratitude and thanks for all of their efforts, commitment, help, advice, fundraising and passion over the years. They are continuing their vital roles with the Crowborough & District Football League, helping organised football to continue for our club and all the other clubs in the district. We wish them well for the future.
