    In Crowborough town, in East Sussex cheer,
    Stands JBFC that we all hold dear.
    In blue and white we take to the field,
    With pride and passion we never yield.

    At the Tester & Jones Sportsground we play,
    Dreaming of goals on a bright matchday.
    Pitches were drowned by relentless rain,
    And are now locked in ice by winter’s reign.

    For when Jarvis Brook get the chance to play,
    They win their matches in fine display.
    Great goals are scored to the crowd’s delight,
    As victories shine under our floodlights bright.

    So here’s a wish as 2026 starts,
    For strong legs, brave play, and fearless hearts.

    As 2025 draws to a close, it is impossible not to reflect with immense pride on what has been the most historic and transformative year in the history of Jarvis Brook Football Club.

    On the pitch, this season delivered moments that will be talked about for generations. Winning the League Cup was a huge achievement, but it was only part of a bigger story. The club secured promotion to senior football for the first time in our history, a landmark moment that reflects years of hard work, commitment and belief from players, coaches, volunteers and supporters alike. Adding to those memories were two unforgettable milestones: a visit from Worthing in the Senior Cup, bringing a fantastic occasion to Jarvis Brook, and our first-ever FA Vase match, which saw the club travel to Balham and take another step onto the national stage.

    Off the pitch, 2025 has been just as remarkable. The installation of floodlights and a seated stand has transformed the ground, allowing the club to grow and giving our players and supporters facilities we can all be proud of. The first game under the lights was a truly special evening, perfectly symbolising how far the club has come. We also celebrated the opening of the Bob Rumins Stand, the Paul Neale Stand, and Frammys Bar—three club legends whose contributions deserve to be recognised and whose names now quite literally shine at Jarvis Brook.

    This year also marked a time of change and transition. We said a heartfelt goodbye to Jacob and Reece, who both played a huge part in getting the club to where it is today. Their impact will not be forgotten. At the same time, we welcomed Dom, signalling the start of an exciting new era and the next chapter in the club’s journey.

    Across the wider club, development continues to thrive. The launch of our U23 team for the first time has been a major step forward in our player pathway, while our reserve team is flourishing and enjoying a strong season. Our youth teams continue to compete at high levels, representing Jarvis Brook brilliantly not just with the quality of their football, but with their conduct, attitude and respect for the game. At the foundation of it all, our mini section is flourishing, with multiple teams across the age groups playing the game the way it should be played—with smiles on their faces and a genuine love for football. Our girls section continue to bring a lot of fun and energy to their training sessions, and on Sunday afternoons our Vets dust off the boots and get to play the game they love.

    Above all, 2025 has highlighted what makes Jarvis Brook Football Club so special. We are incredibly proud of our community spirit, our hard-working committee who tirelessly operate behind the scenes, and our team and age-group managers who give up countless hours to provide football opportunities for hundreds of children. None of this would be possible without our spectators, supporters, sponsors and volunteers, whose backing means everything to the club.

    Thank you to everyone who has supported Jarvis Brook Football Club throughout this unforgettable year. We look forward with excitement, ambition and pride to seeing what memories 2026 will bring.

    Jarvis Brook FC Announce Appointment of New First Team Manager – Dominic Fitzmaurice 

    Jarvis Brook Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Dominic Fitzmaurice as the club’s new First Team Manager. 

    Following the recent departure of former manager Jacob Baldwin, the club has moved swiftly to bring in Fitzmaurice, who previously enjoyed tremendous success with Oxted & District — guiding the side to a double-winning campaign in the Mid Sussex Premier Division. 

    This season marks Jarvis Brook’s first year competing in Senior Football in the Southern Combination Football League Division 1. The appointment of a manager with Fitzmaurice’s experience and ambition signals Jarvis Brook’s intent to continue building momentum and developing both on and off the pitch. 

    Club Chairman Josh Allcorn shared his excitement about the new arrival: 

    “Dominic has a wealth of experience and knowledge of senior football as well as knowing our squad and fitting with the club’s ethos” said Allcorn. “We very much look forward to him joining us and being integral to the continued success of the club.”   

    Everyone at Jarvis Brook FC welcomes Dominic to the club and looks forward to an exciting new chapter under his leadership.

    Boot Swap – Give your old boots a second half!

    At Jarvis Brook FC, we know how quickly football boots can be outgrown, worn out, or replaced — especially for our younger players! That’s why we run a Boot Swap scheme, helping our players, parents, and community reduce waste and keep everyone in the game.

    Every year, thousands of pairs of football boots end up in landfill. Most still have plenty of life left in them — just not in the same size. Synthetic materials used in modern boots take decades to break down, and with the constant churn of new kit and equipment, football contributes more to clothing waste than many people realise.

    By taking part in the Boot Swap, you’re helping:

    • Reduce waste by reusing quality boots instead of throwing them away.
    • Save money — football can be expensive, but access to good gear shouldn’t be.
    • Support the community — every donation helps our club and keeps players on the pitch.

    How It Works

    1. Bring in your old boots – They must be clean and in good playing condition.
    2. Swap for a new-to-you pair – Find a size and style that suits you.
    3. No boots to trade? – No problem! You can still take a pair by making a donation (suggested min of £5) to the club – give your donation to the team working in the café or to anyone from the club committee

    Football is about teamwork — on and off the field. By reusing and recycling our gear, we’re cutting down on clothing waste and making the game more sustainable for future generations.

    So next time you’re at training or matchday, check your cupboards and see if you’ve got a pair of boots ready for a new home. Small swaps can make a big difference!
