1. What are the 2025/26 season fees?

  • The player registration fee for under 5 and under 6 age groups is £55;
  • The player registration fee for “Mini Soccer” that includes the U7, U8, U9 & U10 age groups is £110;
  • The player registration fee for “Youth Football” that includes U11 through to U18 age groups is £160;
  • The player registration fee for our “Girls Football” section is £55.

The fee for those who will only attend training and not play matches and not be registered as a player is half the cost of the full membership, based upon which age group your child is in

The JBFC committee has always prided itself on ensuring we provide ‘affordable football for all’. After child welfare, our next priority is to ensure as many children as possible can play, and nobody is unable to due to economic reasons.

Our registration fee is reviewed annually, and voted on by our committee. The fee is in-line, or cheaper, than many local clubs of our size.

2. What does the registration fee cover ?

The annual registration fee covers all of the following:

  • Crowborough & District Junior Football League registration fees;
  • Player insurance with the FA’s approved insurance provider;
  • Full JBFC football kit (Shirt, shorts & socks)
  • Training sessions at Palesgate Lane;
  • Home and away matches;
  • Match day Referee fees (from U11 – U18);
  • Core equipment – new balls, bibs, cones, respect lines, first-aid kits, etc.;
  • Coach DBS checks;

  • Administration costs (website, accounting, welfare costs, etc.);
  • End of season player awards and trophies;

For clarity and transparency, the annual registration fee does NOT cover:

  • Indoor training at local sports halls in the winter when playing outside is not an option;
  • Outdoor training at astro/3G/4G pitches in the winter when playing at Palesgate lane is not an option;
  • End of season tournaments hosted by other local football clubs;
